The Daily Mail was particularly focused on Megan's thumby appearance in the Motorola Superbowl Ad, accusing Motorola of having used a thumb-double for Fox's cellular demonstration.
Although there is no official proof on the stand-in, Yahoo! provided the commercial, telling bloggers to see for themselves. Low and behold, the beautiful slender thumb navigating the MotoBlur feature, definitely does not match up with previously shown photographs of Fox's deformity.
Really? Is this how superficial our world has become today? I almost don't want to even comment because of the amount of anger I am feeling towards my fellow U.S. citizens. We should all be looking at the beauty of one's soul and mind rather than a person's shape and THUMBS of all things.

Another dumb media story. It's just to make people buy the story or magazine because it makes people feel better to cut others down. Especially celebrities, people tend to 'envy' them and look for anything to make them seem some what normal.

my sister has this defect, and its not a big deal. i think the media is just tryin to hurt others and make them feel like they arent good enough. sometimes i think the media could step it up with some of there stories. i mean is it really a big deal that her thumbs arent perfect?

ReplyDeleteI think that getting a hand double was stupid. If they were smart that would announced this defect and I guarantee that they would have had more viewers interested in the commercial. I think it is things like this about a person that gives them character. There is not such thing as a flawless person!
ReplyDeleteWow. thats pretty dumb to for some reporter to write this story or put this story out to the mass media. If people are so worried about Megan Fox's thumb they forget about the bigger picture about whats happending in Haiti. Thats our society for you.
ReplyDeleteHaha. So stupid but without a doubt it makes a story because of how smoking Megan Fox is.I have seen the thumb and it is rather interesting looking but whatever. Doesn't change my opinion one bit about her. Our media should focus on more important things, but somehow they make a story like this important to people.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know about Megan's club thumb. Now that I've heard about it, I'm curious and would like to see it. I wouldn't have put that type of information out to the mass media, but society has become so unconcerned it's ridiculous. With Megan being the person she is, it really wouldn't matter if she had a club foot because her beauty is contagious.
